Tristan Desforges

Tristan Desforges is an Elève de Maître d’art (Student of a Master of Arts) and was named in 2018 as “Un des Meilleurs Ouvriers de France” (One of the Best Craftspeople in France) for furniture restoration. He has been practicing his craft at the Ebénisterie Michel Jamet since 2011, after spending a number of years studying specific areas of cabinetmaking including marquetry, burin engraving, and furniture conservation and restoration. In july 2020, he becomes manager of the workshop. He is committed to upholding the legacy of his predecessors by passing, while relying on the latest research and publications specific to the restoration profession.

Edouard Hochereau

After a career teaching physics and chemistry, Edouard Hochereau sought to train in cabinetmaking, marquetry, and furniture conservation and restoration. After several internships in major public institutions (C2RMF and the cabinetmaking workshop of the Palace of Versailles) he joined the Ebénisterie Michel Jamet in 2016. He is specialised in the restoration of furniture and uncovering techniques employed by eighteenth century cabinetmakers.

Amélie Di Giovanni

Amélie Di Giovanni turned to furniture conservation-restoration after studying biology in Paris and Montreal. After four years of training in the field of cabinetmaking and obtaining her BMA diploma with honors, she became an employee of the company in September 2022. She participates in restoration and creation projects while bringing her experience in applied research methodology.

Constance Boesch

Her university experience has enabled her to master conservation methodologies and to contribute her thoughts on ethical issues. Constance joined the workshop in 2021 and became an employee of the company in 2023. Alongside her work, she is studying drawing and intaglio engraving.
